I got this error for a JPEG2000 image I have using the latest version of the library:

Uncaught Error: JPX Error: Unsupported COD options (selectiveArithmeticCodingBypass)

I can provide image if needed

This mode is not supported by PDF.js's codec. It would need to be implemented.

OK - any chance PDF.js might implement this some day or is it not something they would need?

The PDF specification uses a subset of JPEG2000, jpx baseline, for better
interoperability and I think that they don't have to support that mode.

However, this is a bypass that can be used to simplify encoder
implementations at the cost of lower compression performance. It should
also be easy to implement on the decoder side.

I did not implement this decoder myself, I just adapted it from Mozilla's PDF.js library to work with 16 bit signed images. I think the selectiveArithmeticCodingBypass COD should be easy to implement, but I don't have the time to investigate. Another alternative is to look at this Emscripten build of OpenJpeg : https://github.com/chafey/openjpeg. OpenJpeg is now the reference J2K implementation and should support all the features that you need.
