ogrinfo show geometry error - OGC CityGML 3.0

What is the bug?

I wanted to load ogc CityGML 3.0 into QGIS. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. @agiudiceandrea gave me the hint about ogrinfo.
Can you helb me?

The other driver which is capable of GML reading is GMLAS (see an article here about it https://3d.bk.tudelft.nl/svitalis/citygml/gdal/2017/07/24/messing-around-with-citygml-on-gdal-2.2.html), it won't work in QGIS though because it creates ~1600 layers and QGIS doesn't play well with such a large number of layers (it slows down too much).

@elpaso The problem is certainly that the geometry typ is not recognized.
In CityGM 1.0 and CityGML 2.0 is 3D PolyhedralSurface as a geometry typ

@elpaso The problem is certainly that the geometry typ is not recognized. In CityGM 1.0 and CityGML 2.0 is 3D PolyhedralSurface as a geometry type

Running ogrinfo -al on those files returns a single feature with empty geometry, so I guess it's not just Shell not being parsed (see the last line of this output):

More a feature request than a bug IMHO. Shell parsing was never implemented. Also, SKIP_RESOLVE_ELEMS is not available as an open options making it harder to set from QGIS.

There are also small changes required in QGIS to make this work.

@elpaso I tested it. It works for citygml1.gml and citygml2.gml. It doesn't work for citygml3.gml.
I noticed that the SRS isn't found for citygml2.gml.
