Auto-opening task pane of Excel add-ins without manual workbook setup

Hello team,

I used to use this approach to configure a workbook so that opening it would automatically launch our Excel add-in.

Recently, I’ve noticed that some Excel add-ins support a feature where, once the add-in is opened in a workbook—even without any manual configuration of the workbook—the task pane automatically opens every time that workbook is reopened.

Could anyone share how to implement this behavior?

This addin set "Office.AutoShowTaskpaneWithDocument" field as you mentioned in this doc, so it can auto show taskpane.

I didn't see this behavior. The addin not show when I open another workbook.
