Custom Tab is not working

I tried to add a Custom tab in PowerPoint but the tab is not appearing in either Desktop or Web

Your Environment

• Platform [PC desktop, Mac, iOS, Office on the web]: PC desktop and Web
• Host [Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.]: PowerPoint
• Office version number: 2505
• Operating System: Windows 11
• Browser (if using Office on the web): Edge

Expected behavior

should create a new tab in the app and place controls in it

Current behavior

Its not creating any Tab and manifest file is having no issues as it compiles successfully

Nothing is visible

Steps to reproduce

1. ______ Create an add-in using Yo generator
2. ______Change the OfficeTab to CustomTab and add required control elements in the manifest
3. ______Debug the add-in and check if the tab is appearing in the PowerPoint desktop

Manifest file generated using Yeo generator has a syntax issue, when I removed the tag, it worked
