Please supply the .D dataset. I'll then inspect it. |

Thanks, I received it. The TIC looks fine, but there's something strange with the data. I'll inspect it. I assume, you need to create a alkane standard calibration file using the chromatogram, am I right? |

Got it, then intensity is so incredible high ... I assume, it's the reason why it fails. |

Let me fix the import converter. Here is the processed file: |

Thank you for your assistance. I need to calculate the concentration of alkanes in the samples based on the calibration plot of the standards. Other chromatograms are exhibiting similar issues. If possible, could you kindly guide me on how to make the necessary corrections? Additionally, could you please explain how to correct these issues using the calibration and points files? If there are any tutorials available, that would be greatly appreciated. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. |

The MassHunter files seem to require a different import strategy than the files we have in our testing environment. I need to fix our import converter. In the meantime, feel free to share other files with me. I will convert them (with a manual internal fix) to *.ocb format, so that you can run your analysis. If you're a student, feel free to create an account with your university email here: https://account.lablicate.com/register And then request a promo code for the Power Tools: |

I did the conversion and analysis. The link has just been sent via email. The next version of OpenChrom also contains a fix of the import converter. |

Thank you very much for the files. They really helped me. I truly appreciate your support. Regarding the handbook download, although I received the approval, it’s not showing the option to download. I just wanted to let you know. Thanks again for all your help! |

I'm facing an issue with peak detection and manual peak selection in the TIC view of a .D (Agilent) MS dataset using OpenChrom. When I load a .D file and open the TIC, the chromatogram displays correctly with visible peaks. However:
No peaks are automatically detected, even after trying the Peak Detector and Peak Integrator options.
Manual peak selection does not work — dragging across a peak doesn't highlight or integrate it, and I’m unsure if I’m missing a step.
I'm new to the software and this is an urgent analysis, so any quick guidance would be very helpful!
Thanks in advance for your support.
