Constant delta time using bladed-style DLL controller

Hello everyone,
I have a quick question about the time step in ServoDyn when using the Bladed-style DLL controller.
I am trying to integrate the ServoDyn module in another software which can have variable time step. The problem is that the function that call the bladed style controller is checking if the new time is exactly one time step after the previous time and not just greater than. Then, I was wondering if it was ok to have a variable time step when calling Bladed-style DLL controller or should I call the ServoDyn module at a constant rate to impose constant time step ?

Dear @theot-student,

Well, Bladed-style DISCON controllers are generally supposed by to be called in discrete time at a fixed rate. However, the DISCON controller is user defined, so, I suppose its requirements could also depend on how you've set up your DISCON controller.
