Sample corruption #454

@jsiddall

Description

@jsiddall

Describe the bug
Installed a new laptop running Ubuntu 24.04.3 to run OpenHantek6022 but display frequently shows corrupted data (looks like missing samples)

To Reproduce
IMPORTANT: Always unplug and replug the scope if used before with a different application, e.g. sigrok or the original Hantek software.
No support for non-Linux related issues unless a volunteer steps in!

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Start OpenHantek6022, notice that display glitches several times per second with what appears to be missing samples.

Expected behavior
Steady datastream displayed

Screenshots
Attached shows capture connected to built-in calibration signal. Results are the same for external function generator.

  • Distribution, version: Intel N4500 CPU
  • Screen resolution, screen setup (e.g. multimonitor, etc.): 1280x720
  • Video hardware: Integrated Graphics
  • OpenGL version: N/A
  • Qt version: N/A
  • C++ compiler version: N/A

Scope device (please complete the following information):

  • Device: Hantek 6022BE
  • Program top line: OpenHantek6022 (3.4.0)
  • Input signal: calibration out 1 kHz
  • Probe setting: probe X10, same result on other channel X1

Additional context
The symptoms look a lot like issue #207 but with a very different kernel (6.10) and attempts to turn off power saving on USB with powertop did not help.

Also plugged into a different USB port but that did not change anything either.

I realize this may be a kernel issue but it has a severe impact on OpenHantek so any advice on how to resolve would be appreciated.
