Join paths et crossing points

Somebody reported on Sourceforge [tickets:#363]:

When trying to join a path to a crossing point (525) with MAJ (join paths) the path doesn't join the crossing point to good place.

I do not understand what kind of operation you mean. The only thing I can imagine is first putting the 525 Crossing point, then starting a line object with Shift+Click. This will produce the result from the screen shot, indeed, because the only (joinable) coordinate of the crossing point is the single central point - it's a point object, after all.

Any another behaviour would mean a new feature. But than the semantics could also be the other way: First there is a line (wall, fence), and than you mark the place were to embed the crossing point. The software would take care of the proper length of the gap in the line and also of the correct positioning and rotation of the crossing point symbol.

Yes, I talked about the first comportment. Maybe objects should not stop at the centre of crossing point but on his sides. Maybe with two points in the object ?
