SVG export

Similar to #276 it would be nice to have the possibility to the map as SVG.

It just a "nice to have" feature. 😄

The SVG generator in Qt shouldn't be very difficult to use. (But it also needs to be build and packaged.)

For the record, GDAL does not provide SVG export.

SVG format is needed for TiM. TiM — Timed control map Maker is a Windows application for preparing "timed control maps". The tool creates cover sheets, competition maps and solution maps. TiM is free but not open source.

The implementation provided by Qt, QSvgGenerator, is too limited at the moment. It does not support clipping (as used for pattern fills of area objects), and I face trouble in setting up the desired scaling consistently. As a small start for TiM, we could export a raster image of the map, embedded in an SVG file.

This is not what we expected for "SVG export" for Mapper; "SVG export" should export vector graphics. But as some maps could include raster templates we should make "SVG export" usable for export to SVG mixed map of vector shapes (map objects) and raster images (template images).

ocad2geojson (in JavaScript) got initial SVG export support:

As you can see on example image, antialiasing only applied to line objects; area objects edges sharped.

P.S.: Not sure would be it useful or not, but hope that @perliedman would join to OpenOrienteering Mapper development.

Nice to see my work being referenced here!

Please note that while I think ocad2geojson can or at least will be useful, it is currently more on the concept stage - a lot of things does not work, or just work partially. What works is very much driven by exactly what I need at the moment.

Having said that, it would of course be great if you could use my code, maybe just for inspiration.

I do not really have the time to get involved in more projects at the moment, but I am happy to at least try to help if there is anything I can do that does not require a lot of time.

Finally, let me say that I have used the OpenOrienteering code base quite a lot while writing my OCAD parser, great work from everyone involved! 👍
