Created Date Time Format

When I add any kind of artifact and attempt to set the Created Date, the recommended format is 03:15:45am. However when I start to enter a time, the recommended output automatically adds a space between the second position and the am/pm position (e.g. 03:15:00 am). If I try to save the artifact like this, I get an error complaining that the time format needs 10 characters, not 11. We have to manually go in to remove the space. Could that field default to autocompleting a date/time without the extra space?
