Feature request: Terraform resources for Microsoft Teams Integration #996
Description
We are requesting the addition of a new Terraform resource to the terraform-provider-pagerduty to facilitate the integration of Microsoft Teams with PagerDuty. Currently, our project involves managing over 280 technical services in PagerDuty using Terraform. However, we are manually linking each service to its corresponding Microsoft Teams channel, which is time-consuming and prone to errors.
Problem Statement:
- Our project involves more than 280 technical services in PagerDuty.
- We create all PagerDuty resources using Terraform, except for Microsoft Teams integration.
- Manually linking each PagerDuty service to its corresponding Teams channel is inefficient and error-prone.
Proposed Solution:
- Introduce a new Terraform resource in
terraform-provider-pagerdutyto automate the integration of Microsoft Teams with PagerDuty services. - This resource should allow users to specify the Teams channel for each PagerDuty service directly within their Terraform configuration.
