Parcels anniversary: Fielding user feedback discussion topics

At the Parcels anniversary event, we would like to hear create a space for user feedback, as well as to discuss as a community.

• What are difficulties that you have encountered with v3 of Parcels?
• (besides unstructured grids) What science would you like to do, that you feel like is either difficult or impossible to currently do with Parcels?

This discussion will be helpful in the design of version 4 of Parcels and beyond. Please use the comments down below to suggest and flesh out topics so that they can be discussed at the Parcels event.

As developers (/the team at Utrecht), there are some topics that we would also like to bring up:

• What spatial datatype (lon/lat/depth) do people use for their simulations? Do people explicitly use np.float64 for its higher precision at coastline boundaries? (xref Double precision #552 ) How important is smaller dataset output to users?
• What kind of features would you want in Parcels that you don't know how to do right now?
