Any good example of how to include tides as a kernel by using global models?

I am running a Lagrangian simulation by using parcels with GLORYS reanalysis and wanted to check if someone could give any example on how to implement tidal currents as a kernel by using some global tide model, like FES.

A few months ago, @MeikeBos converted the kernels to v3 in https://github.com/OceanParcels/parcels_contributions/blob/master/Kernels/tides_kernels.py
