Automatically zoom in the map

When I reload the page with the component or click the lock button, the map zooms out and becomes very small:

I can zoom it in using mouse wheel. But is there any ablity to zoom it in automatically with the predefined value?

Actually from v2.0.6 map doesn't automatically zoom in after locking.

You can configure default zoom level by adding crop: section in map_source:

  crop:
    top: 100
    bottom: 140

I suggest to use map trimming in Map Extractor instead, as it reduces server CPU usage and network transfers

Map trimming almost is not working. I have specified trimming in 90% and almost nothing changed (camera was turned on). Cropping is better.

Trimming works when used correctly: sum of values in the same axis must be below 100%. In your case all values should be around 40
