Safari 9: App fails to load with error

A JavaScript error is raised and the app fails to load. Screenshot attached. This error occurred in Safari 9.1.1. Thanks for any insight you can offer.

Hmm... I'll have to track down Safari 9 to reproduce. We don't see problems in Safari 10, Firefox, Chrome, IE, or Edge.
