The king is dead, long live the king! #1030

Hi everyone, especially the maintainers of this repository!

This might be controversial, but hear me out. I think it is time to archive this repository and to link to https://github.com/RfidResearchGroup/proxmark3. It had been 4(!) years since the last commit here. The fork is WAY MORE active and, let's face it, objectively better. Even the stars/likes reflect that. Don't get me wrong, please do not delete this repo, there still might be some helpful code in here. But it is really frustrating for newcomers. I've been into RFID and the Proxmark3 for over 10 years now. It always takes some extra steps to explain, not to use this repo, despite of the "official" in the name. The fork is even part of Linux distributions like Arch or Kali. It is the de facto standard by now.

I have the upmost respect for people like @pwpiwi who supported this repo until 2020. But I think it is time to move on, clean things up, and help new Proxmark3 owners to a smoother experience.

Thank you!
