PureWriter for VSCode instead of desktop

I have a suggestion to develop an extension for Visual Studio Code instead of an entire desktop app.

VSCode is intended for coding purposes, however it is still a text editor and very powerful. It already has all the necessary tools for editing text including hotkeys. But by far the biggest advantage would be cross-platform compatibility as VSCode will handle that by itself.
