Support for BCE dates in calendar columns?

Is it possible to enter BCE dates in the calendar dates column? I would like to create a database including people born in the ancient era and am having trouble entering their birth and death dates. I have explored trying to change the Luxon format in settings to a six-digit year but it has not helped with entering database information.
