Hi I see the latest insiders 3.2.8 is two assets, a zip file and a tar.gz. I wanted to set up a new RPI 5 on 3.2.8. I can do the usual installaion by installing bookworm and using the bash script. I wondered about using the zip file but my limited knowledge of coding does not cover using this source. I could not find much on using this file for a fresh install - maybe I missed it - if so sorry for the question but is there a guide to using this asset to install 3.2.8? Thanks! |

Is there a reason you wish to do it manually? then you can find the documentation here: https://docs.raspap.com/manual/ else the recomended way is to do the quick install |

Thanks for the link. I had no resason to use a manual approach I was just curious about the source file and how to use it! I see that there is no advantage and I will use the quick installer. Do I understand correctly that the RaspAP images do not apply to the insiders version? Thanks again for your response. |

Thanks for this, something else I never knew about how github works! I will use the image, fix the IP routing and then upgrade. Thanks again. |

Just fyi, i felt it easier doing a fresh official bookworm update through the radpi imager and then just doing the quick install. Just letting you know there are another option.
