Bug description

This is an identical bug reported almost 2 years ago (#1070), but i've been experiencing this in 2 devices.
My phone has a old youtube patched version (19.09.37) with a bunch of patches (we can say it's the default ones), where the floating window bottom menu does not work (but split screen mode works on the bottom menu).
My tablet however with identical patches, and a newer version (currently suggested by revanced manager, 19.47.53) does not work both ways.

Steps to produce the bug (floating window, both, portrait and landscape mode)

  • Open youtube patched in floating window.
  • Click on the bottom menus.
    • No response.

Steps to produce the bug (split view mode):

  • Open youtube patched on split view/screen mode (both)
  • Phone
    • minimizing/maximizing width and changing from portrait to landscape mode without leaving split screen mode
    • Click on bottom menus
      • Has response
  • Tablet (split screen/view does not work on portrait mode)
    • Expand youtube patched app on split screen/view mode.
    • Click on the bottom menus
      • No response
    • Shrink youtube patched app on split screen/view mode (making it half/half)
    • Click on the bottom menus
      • Has response

Patches on phone:

  • default.

Patches on tablet

  • default 1st time, end result with just GmsCore Support.

Additional info

  • Installed the stock 19.47.53 version on the tablet, everything works fine. On phone side, i tried my mom phone (diff one) which has the most recent version, works fine too.
  • Phone model: Oppo Find X5
  • Tablet model: Oneplus Pad 2
  • Pip setting and display over other apps allowed on patched version

Please check the unpatched app and see if it works there

Can confirm, the unpatched app does works as intended.
I do want to just add a small note, i updated from 19.47.53 to 19.50.40 due there was a slight problem with miniplay "blocking" the app somehow, and not be able to access comments, others videos, and whatsoever (checked this bug report for that one solution #4300) however the problem i'm reporting above still persists on the tablet side.

Hope that wont cause any problems with the bug report.
