What is happening with this project?

I've heard that Geoff left Red Hat which would explain the stagnation, but is there a plan for someone else to take over?

I’ve moved to using Ansible. There is an Ansible galaxy module theforeman.foreman which does most of what is needed to setup and configure Satellite and Foreman/Katello.

Most of what these scrips accomplished can now be achieved with the "ISS export synchronization" and
"ISS syncable exports" that are built-in to Red Hat Satellite. These scripts were designed to interact with Pulp 2, which was replaced many years ago with Pulp 3.

...and also the Satellite documentation for syncing content between Satellite servers. There is also a fully supported Ansible collection for Red Hat Satellite now as well.
