pnpm is about 3x faster than npm, especially in monorepos, and faster speeds mean better dx

Could you evaluate what would be the performance gain for this repo?

I'd say there are three main times when dependencies are installed:

• Updating dependencies
• During CI
• New contributors

Performance gain:

• Slight improvement in CI speed
• Smaller on-disk size node_modules size due to pnpm's Symlinked node_modules structure, especially when working on multiple projects at the same time

Could you compare the difference in speed for this repo specifically? I'm not sure there will be any feasible difference.

Here are stats on my machine

	npm	pnpm
installing dependencies	2m 7.2s	27.1s
