VMP and Modernfix not compatible

Describe the bug
VMP-Forge is incompatible with Modernfix on 1.20.1

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Install VMP mc1.20.1-0.2.0+beta.7.102-all
2. Install Modernfix 5.23.0+mc1.20.1

Expected behavior
Both mods load and the minecraft client launches

After doing a binary search, it seems like Modernfix 5.18.0+mc1.20.1 will play nice with VMP. All older versions I check (most downloaded from each 5.x version starting from 5.0) failed with the same error (but different error from the provided log for 5.23)
