Cold load doesn't show blue markers for current selections in menus

It should match when you click into the show for UX consistency

This is really tough to solve (but not impossible). I'm not sure the tradeoffs are worth it though - it would require making an extra fetch on routes that do not necessarily need it. At the end of the day, you know what "random" show is pulled up via the top right column header. I think that's sufficient for what would be a minor ux gain - I do agree it would be better, but not sure the juice is worth the squeeze in this particular case.
