Setup browsers to use alfis

Hi!

No matter what I do, neither firefox, nor chrome will use alfis to resolve names (on Windows). I have my OS resolve names with it, my router resolve names with it -- it all works as long as I use nslookup, ping etc. But as soon as I open FF or Chrome, they ignore my DNS settings completely. I've tried to set secure DNS to off, to localhost, but still they just ignore alfis (or can't resolve names from yggdrasil only?)

How have you setup your browsers to actually see ygg names?

You may want to disable your system resolver and then run Alfis on free port 53.
Alfis will route the Internet DNS according to your TOML configuration.

Hello, and thank you for a fast reply!

The problem I face is that I have configured system resolver to use alfis, as it is written on the site you provided. The result is that ping and nsresolve work fine. What doesn't work is that browsers don't seem to care about system DNS (at least on Windows) (even with DoH turned off).

But the tip about .ygg in Firefox worked well, thanks!
