Does RHadoop run on Windows?

Hi all,

I'm unable to install the RHadoop package on my R version 3.4.2.

tried installing from Github directly devtools:: and rjava installed. It wont work. The error for this is

Installation failed: Timeout was reached: Connection timed out after 10000 milliseconds

I unzipped, extracted the package and tried to install rhdfs, rmr2, rhbase and still no luck.

Error message:
C:/Users/hariram.n/Documents/R/win-library/3.4/rmr2" && internal -xf -))' had status 127
ERROR: installing binary package failed

Anyone facing the similar issue? What is it that I'm doing wrong? Does RHadoop run on windows?
