bug: directory view shows infinite loader when filtering users or searching

Describe the Bug

The Directory screen shows a constant loading indicator when filtering to "users" or entering a search query, and no results are displayed.

Steps to Reproduce

Open the Directory screen
Tap the filter icon
Select "Users"
Or type a search query in the search box

Expected Behavior

Results should load and display
Loading indicator should stop when results are fetched
Search should return matching users

Actual Behavior

Loading indicator appears and never stops
No results are displayed
Search input doesn't return any results

Hi @deepak0x,
I have reviewed this issue and I think the loading state might not be getting cleared after users filter request resolves . I believe it is possibly a missing state update or API response handling.
I would like to work on this issue and propose a fix.
Hence could you please assign this issue to me?

Hi @deepak0x and maintainers 👋,

I’d like to work on this issue as well.
From the description, it seems the loading state in the Directory screen is not being cleared correctly when:

• switching to the "Users" filter, or
• performing a search query

My plan is to(Approach):

• reproduce the issue locally
• trace the users filter / search request lifecycle
• ensure the loading state is properly reset once the API response (success or error) is received

If there’s no ongoing PR for this, I’ll proceed with investigating and propose a fix.
