Description
Explain some commonly used terms that may be confusing, namely:
- potentials vs voltages. There is also some confusion in this topic with the symmetrical components.
- origin of potentials (link to the potential reference page)
- load results (line power, line current) vs load inputs (element power, element current), which are different in case of delta loads.
- flexible load (voltage-dependence)
- complex power (active and reactive) and apparent power (magnitude)
- the ground and the concept of several grounds
- floating-neutral (link to its page)
- technical terms related to the code: quantity vs magnitude, scalar vs array
