The README say:

Make sure that you use the appropriate branch on-prem-2022, on-prem-2021 or on-prem-2023.
But how to know which one is appropriate?

SAP itself speaks in terms of different version numbers e.g. SAP_BASIS 757 or SAP_ABA 75H
