Auto referenced assembly definition

Hey there, super cool package :)

I do wonder though why the package is not set to be auto referenced. I now need to have to reference it in order to use it. In my specific case, the project was small, so I did not have custom assembly defintiions. Now I had to create one and reference all other used packages just to use this one.

Is there any reason for the non-auto-reference? I have not seen other packages do this

The reason behind disabling auto-reference is this

TL;DR just for the sake of not having to make a major version due to changes in the assembly

I never thought it could be a big deal for a project. You think it is?
