DuckieTV Transmission Client Advanced Settings example

This is a guide to help you set up DuckieTV 1.1.4+ with a Transmission Web Server.

This guide uses the justseed.it transmission seed box service as an example. You will need to adjust the DuckieTV Transmission Client settings to suit the requirements of your chosen Transmission Web Server.

Pre requisites:

DuckieTV 1.1.4 or newer. Get the latest version at the official download site here

Web Server Set up

This will obviously depend on the service provider. As an example, the justseed.it service requires you to visit your account options page and check the "Use API?" flag and apply the change. A new API Key will be generated (40-characters in length) and presented to you on the same page.

Start up DuckieTV and

configure the DuckieTV Transmission Integration.

• Start up DuckieTV and click on the Settings Icon
  

• And then click on the Torrent button
  

• Now click on the Transmission button
  

• Next, click on the Transmission Integration button
  

• Fill in the fields that are required by your Web Server provider. For example, for justseed.it, you need to enter the server address, port number, the base path including the API key, and uncheck the use authorization checkbox, because the username and password are not used.
  

• And press the Test and Save button
  

• you are connected!
  If all went well, you should see a green dot next to the Transmission Icon on the left hand side.
