As you may be aware there are countries in which the social security number is a secret string that shouldn't be shared (unlike our Codice Fiscale, which is the real intended string in this usecase).

Wonder if we should do something to ensure that people understand what they are being asked, to avoid future issues

What if non Italian people would like to register? Do they need to create a fake codice fiscale?

I'm not aware whether we have validation on Codice Fiscale right now given its a 16 chars string for a simple use case. I'm also not sure how official membership could work for people living outside of Italy.

Would be worth checking the legal aspects of this @LobeTia
