📚 Documentation

Reference: #4799

The Iris documentation would benefit from a page on "Iris's philosophy".

In a world where other tools for data handling and processing exist and are being extensively used by the data science community (XArray being the most obvious), it would be good to have a clear statement of what Iris is striving to provide and, perhaps just as importantly, not provide.

We should also make our "philosophy" more explicit, especially with respect to the reasons why we have made certain decisions with the Iris development and what sort of things users might need to be aware of.

The most obvious case is our strict CF compliance - this makes Iris more fussy about what data it will load compared to tools like XArray. This should be seen as a good thing and we should be clear on the reasons behind this.
