Sure -- this script is basically the same as mine. However, if the VM is powered off, I believe the call to "Get-CDDrive" will fail with an error, hence why I updated my script accordingly.

Thanks, worked fine here, in a situation where the iso file appeared disconnected in vecnter , however I could not vmotion. I got an error in execution "Set-CDDrive : 02/01/2020 18:20:19 Set-CDDrive The method is disabled by 'vShield_SVM'" but it worked anyway

Thanks for the command lines, it worked for me with few small changes... Instead of going through all VMs setting them to no media even they dont have any , I added "| Where-Object {$_.IsoPath -ne $null}" to filter only the ones with CD connected.

Yes, but your version of the script will reconfigure the VM even if there is no ISO mounted, which is not that we want. I prefer the Ned's version in production environment.
