  • So important to make it a dead simple process
  • Before, right before, during, right after
  • On-boarding simplifies off-boarding as well
  • When adding new permissions, do it in the onboarding doc first
  • Every new employee contributes to the onboarding process
  • Great opportunity to strengthen team learning
  • Goal: contribute something on the first day. Build positive momentum
  • Benefits from autonomy and org support. E.g. being able to just buy a license if I need one.
  • Standardize communication templates
