watertight mesh

Hi everyone, Thank you for the great work. I would like to know if anyone has come across models that have lost part of their structure when watertightening the mesh file, for example I have come across models of individual cars that have lost their wheels, what parameters should be adjusted in this case (I'm using a resolution of 512)

Hi, to eliminate the double‐layer structure introduced by UDF dilation, the simplest approach(https://github.com/Seed3D/Dora/blob/main/sharp_edge_sampling/to_watertight_mesh.py#L77) is to keep only the component with the largest bounding box. The downside, however, is that any mesh that originally had multiple components will lose some of its geometry—for example, a car mesh might lose its wheels. If you need to preserve multiple components, you can use the flood‐fill code provided by cubvh(https://github.com/ashawkey/cubvh/blob/main/test/extract_mesh_watertight.py) to solve this issue.
