The Chrome version that the trunc version is using is pretty old #1883
Comments
@toddtarsi may I request you to please provide your comments on this? |
Hi @toddtarsi sorry to bother you Running with old version of chromium can be a blocker from functional and security aspects as well. Can you please prioritize this? |
@vguntupalli-mn - oh wow, i am a few versions behind. I'll try and take a look this weekend, thank you for reporting |
Great, thanks a lot @toddtarsi |
Also @toddtarsi , given the high frequency of chrome/chromium getting updated, the need of contineous electron core upgrade in the SIDE may be desired (to stay on the latest browser version). any thoughts please.... |
For me, the extension doens't work anymore after recent chrome upgrade. @toddtarsi Can I find logs anywhere that might help debugging it? |
@toddtarsi is there any more to this? any plan or release by when this can be upgraded? |
@toddtarsi sorry to bother you. Just wanted to know if this is under radar |
Seems like even in the latest (trunc?) branch, the chrome version is 120.x. It is already pretty old and many pages/sites wont work fine with it.
Please correct me if i am missing anything that could make us configure correctly. Otherwise this could block the behavior of pages in the old version of the browsers.
