Understanding processing images

I'm working with a new module that allows for the display of Magic: The Gathering card info in a Terminal. For the life of me I cannot get images to render without having a LOT of blank space around them. THis causes me to basically full-screen the terminal if I want to see the data in a meaningful way.

I've tried many permutations, but haven't quite got the "secret sauce" yet. Any guidance to be offered?

I can get it to render reasonably well using -MaxWidth, i.e.

Get-SpectreImage https://cards.scryfall.io/normal/front/f/c/fc783f49-f58a-4783-87b4-4dbc7e896f2e.jpg?1562796534 -MaxWidth 40

Interesting @gep13! I slimmed down what I was attempting to do, and also updated windows terminal and am now getting the same results!

I think I see what's happening here. I might make the default height of images match the height of the terminal. Sixel is an interesting format and I believe it's scrolling the window in the middle of the render which makes it misalign itself with Spectre Consoles view of the terminal position if the image is taller than the terminal height.
