When attempting to debug an issue, sometimes you only have a rough idea of the time and the source server and you need to grab all the logs for that time period and put it through other tools to refine/search. There may be hundreds of thousands of log lines for the given period.
Currently there seems to be no way to export all matches of a search, you have to page through them in the web console and you can only export lines you have loaded in the browser. This just doesn't work for a search returning more than a handful of pages of results.
