Railway template

It might be interesting to have a SigNoz template on Railway. There is an open request for it here.

Railway is an up-and-coming PaaS along the lines of Heroku, Render, or Fly.io. One recent twist is that it provides open source kickbacks for template authors.

As a Railway user, when I browse the Railway Marketplace, I see other popular OSS projects represented: n8n template, Grafana template, etc. But, it is hard to evaluate the quality and security of templates published by individual authors unassociated with the OSS projects.

As a Railway user, it would be ideal if the author of the templates were the OSS project owners/maintainers. This would reduce end user worry about security and be more likely to choose the authoritative template over third parties.

It's hard to tell how much the kickbacks might be worth to SigNoz as a business but Railway has reported at least one template author making a six figure salary.

The template doesn't seem to work properly after a fresh install

There is no concept of dependencies in Railway. If you scroll in further in our README, we have mentioned what needs to be done in such cases.

The issue is with deploying the main signoz application, not sure if this is a railway issue.

It seems an update to Signoz broke the template. I opened an issue here SigNoz/signoz-railway-template#1
