I think it's something to do with pinecone, but I'm really not sure what. Would love any suggestion.

The issue is related to indexing.
I recently received this email from Pinecone:

"Thank you for using Pinecone with AutoGPT. While AutoGPT clears the data in your Pinecone index after every session, it unnecessarily leaves the index service running.As we work with the AutoGPT maintainers to update this behavior, we are taking the manual step of archiving those unused indexes after confirming they have been inactive for more than a day."

As the error message suggests, check your index. Log-in to your Pinecone account. It might say "initializing" because

"Creation of new indexes in northamerica-northeast1-gcp and asia-southeast1-gcp are currently experiencing very long completion times. New indexes may not be available in a timely manner in those regions. Existing indexes are unaffected."

But better, switch to local memory. It's default in the stable version. Though I don't know which option is actually better.
