Trailing newline...but I never typed one.

When typing, does not matter where, I notice that there suddenly is a blank, trailing newline - that I never put there.

Where does that come from and is there a way to get around it?

Turning off the line-wrapper fixed it.

It also fixed an awkward issue where deleting multiple lines very fast would result the cursor jumping somewhere to the top. Might want to see about not inserting empty lines - and why the cursor jumps up.
