Description
Video of the problem: https://youtu.be/qwzCr4zt0io
I've been trying a couple games with a friend and everything was fine and good, but when playing Pocky & Rocky in 2P, the screen started flashing the moment Rocky was shooting and moving at the same time.
I've tried with my original NTSC cartridge and with my Retrode-dumped version of it through the SD card and both are showing the same problem. This definitely wasn't happening before the latest firmware as I played it a bunch, last year.
How to reproduce the problem: Rocky the Racoon needs to be selected in single player or multiplayer, as soon as the game starts, the moment Rocky shoots and moves, the whole screen starts flickering like in the video.
Setup: 1P: 8bitdo Bluetooth dongle connected to a Switch Online SNES controller. 2P: an OG SNES controller. OG Analogue power supply and cables. I also tried by plugging 2 OG SNES Controllers, just in case that 8bitdo dongle would create some weird power draw issue, the issue remained
- firmware version: Jailbreak v7.2
Firstly I'd appreciate if someone with a unit could test this, wondering if that's my unit having an issue maybe... If the issue is widespread and necessitate more careful attention I can always share the dump and pictures of my cart/board as I saw on another issue raised here.
All my display settings are based on FirebrandX's OCD settings + scanlines: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkcayHce6jE
EDIT: I just edited the title as I noticed that this behavior happens regardless of being in 1P or 2P, Rocky just needs to be on screen while moving and shooting and it'll do that.
