I created 175 rows in the sample-exercise.csv file with all my exercises. Followed the guideline for creating the rows with attributes and the corresponding values. Followed the new docker-compose guideline and created a fresh environment. Setup went well, log did showed few errors

❌ Attribute error: Error: Unknown attribute value: CORE

All the rows with attribute value CORE was not imported.

Summary did show 147 rows out of 175 imported into the DB.

Then I accessed the website, created my login and selected the equipment, then selected muscles and clicked "Continue". Instead of seeing the Exercise I am getting the error message - "No exercises found. Try to change your equipment or muscles selection." Unable to proceed after this step.

Hey. Thanks for your message and all the effort you put in

I had a look looks like some of the attribute values (like CORE) might not be defined in the ExerciseAttributeValueEnum inside the schema file (prisma/schema.prisma)

So yeah . when the importer runs, if a value isn’t recognized in that enum, it just skips the row

Would you mind sharing a few more rows from your CSV?
Just so I can spot if it's a one-off or if a bunch of them need to be adjusted

That way I can help you clean it up quick and make sure you don't waste any more time wondering what's goin on

Adding few more rows in the CSV.

The error message is only for the Attribute value CORE, but CORE is there in the guide as a valid attribute value for both PRIMARY and SECONDARY MUSCLES attribute type.

I added the missing attributes in the schema.prisma file. Got some error, then following the error message added the missing attributes in /src/shared/lib/attribute-value-translation.ts. Still getting the same error. Giving up for now, I could not make it self-host.

I encountered the same problem when using Gemini to generate CSV files:

   ❌ Attribute error: Error: Unknown attribute value: CORE
    at normalizeAttributeValue (/app/scripts/import-exercises-with-attributes.ts:85:9)
    at CsvParser.<anonymous> (/app/scripts/import-exercises-with-attributes.ts:168:93)

I eventually gave up, because even when the exercises did load, the data was very messy. Currently, importing through CSV is the only option, but the usability is quite poor.

It would be extremely helpful if the official team could provide a more complete example of exercise.csv so that local deployment becomes easier and more reliable.
