Variable Infill Density

Would it be possible to provide an interface to set the infill density for a range of layers to something other than the default? For example, I have a model which is basically a cylinder about 1-2cm in thickness. For a few selected sections each about 3mm high I am using a transparent filament. The default fill is 20% but for these transparent layers I want it to be 100%. In fact, being able to paint sections or areas of a model with x% infill would be ideal. This feature would be specific to any layer thickness.
