Fantastic. The compile failures are an apparent compiler bug as far as I can tell, and I don't know what to do to fix it. It should be able to wrap around, but I think the compiler gets confused because of the unified address spqce. |

basically topics on #1228 , but I haven't tested if this actually works. It should in theory....
