How to install Ko-Fi donation button onto skin?

I'm trying to install the Ko-Fi Donation Button to my site and I first tried putting it in /public_html/default.html but it didn't render. I am wondering if there's a special place l need to put it inside of the Citizen Skin Extension folder at public_html/skins/Citizen/ but I don't see any html files in there.

The Ko-Fi documentation tells me to put the code snipped inside of my main html file, right before the last closing body code.

Any advice?

The easiest way is to copy the content of the <script> tag into MediaWiki:Citizen.js (or MediaWiki:Common.js if it's a multi skin wiki).
