ConnectionError with BYD Inverter / Espressif Logger (AEW4-0000-04)

Hello,

I would appreciate some help with my setup. I am getting a "ConnectionError: ('Cannot open connection')" when trying to configure the integration.

I have enabled debug logging, and the full log is pasted below this message.

Here is the information about my system:

System Information:

• Inverter Brand: BYD
• Monitoring App Used: WiseSolar Plus
• Logger IP Address: 192.168.1.6
• Logger Web Interface Info:
  • Serial Number: E47092270635
  • Hardware Version: AEW4-0000-04
  • Software Version: 4770721817R

Troubleshooting Steps Performed:

• I have confirmed the logger is online and the IP is correct (ping is successful).
• I tried multiple YAML files, including sofar_wifikit.yaml and sofar_lsw3.yaml.
• I tried Slave IDs 1 and 0.
• The error is always a ConnectionError and the integration fails to set up.

I have attached a screenshot of the logger's web interface. The debug log from home-assistant.log is pasted below.

Hello, an update on my issue:

A new version of the integration was released today. I have updated to the latest version.

The good news is that the error has changed.

• When I try to configure with the Auto profile, the error is now: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'parser'. This seems to indicate that the connection is now successful, but the inverter cannot be identified.
• When I try to configure manually with the sofar_string.yaml profile, the error reverts to the original ConnectionError: ('Cannot open connection').

I have the debug logs active from these attempts. Please let me know if I can provide the new log file. It seems we are very close to a solution.
