The Cantaloupe issue TAMULib/cantaloupe#9 describes the situation with the scripting delegate.
It might be more performant (or not) to have IRIIIF handle this behavior at a pre-configured URL.
Then Cantaloupe would be able to use the Basic Delegegate and it would not have to know anything about DSpace or Fedora.
That could be IRIIIFs job.
Currently Cantaloupe is parsing the URLs and is making a decision to redirect to different servers.
IRIIIF could essentially handle that automatically without need to parse and split URLs.
