IR 1.10 is HOPELESSLY buggy and glitchy #1510
Comments
Please give system specs, MC version |
Sorry, I forgot to mention |
server? |

think the issue is more your system than IR, 1.12.2 is the version IR was first made on so the more stable version |
I think your really short render distance here is cause the issues your are describing as buggy

I'm sorry and I hate to say it because I love this mod, but pretty much every version since like 1.7.0 has shared the following common issues. This mod is in DESPERATE need of an update/major bug fix, because as it sits in my opinion, its borderline useless.
Trains CONSTANTLY decoupling by themselves at nearly any speed, regardless of length or curvature. This also causes a glitch where cars "phase" through one another, which leads to one HECK of a lot of frustration. I never had this issue at all in older versions, in fact, I can remember running consists of over 100 cars with no issues whatsoever. But in 1.10.0, this decoupling issue happens just about every single time I run something with more then 5 cars. This is by far the biggest issue in my opinion. I'll just be running along with maybe 20-30 cars and when I get to a stopping point I look back and realize over half the train is gone.
Sometimes, if you're watching a train go by, the lead locomotive will "disappear" momentarily, on and off depending on your viewpoint, and it is BEYOND annoying. Once again, this happens every single time that I run something with more then one engine.
Trains will often freeze/lag when in motion, this was an issue that occurred on occasion back in older versions, but now, its unbearable.
1.7 and up versions just in general don't run nearly as well or nearly as fast, much more lag and many more issues. I know more features have been added which taxes performance, but IR 1.10 is perhaps the buggiest, glitchiest mod I have EVER used.
Now, why don't I go back to playing older versions? The amount of rolling stock/upgrades that are possible to have in 1.10 makes playing it (during the 5% of times that everything is working), a lot of fun. I must admit.
Watching videos of other people playing IR on 1.10 on YouTube, I rarely see any of the issues I have with this mod occur. Sure, could just be clever video editing to get rid of all the bugs, but seriously, if anybody else has any of these issues, or knows any way at all to fix them, PLEASE reply. Thank you
